quanto mais marilyn melhor

em janeiro eu ganhei de presente da minha ídola ana pinho a biografia de marilyn monroe. devorei o livro na berlim gelada de fevereiro. conhecê-la mudou minha life.

quero partilhar com vocês um dos melhores semi-monólogos do cinema mundial, quando sugar cane (marilyn) fala sobre seus boy-desejo, em quanto mais quente melhor (que clarissa me emprestou). o diálogo tá editado por mim, porque as falas de tony curtis nessa cena nao me interessam at all:

- i'm not very bright, i guess.if i had any brains i wouldn't be in this train with this female band. i used to sing with male bands, but i can't afford it anymore. i worked with six different ones in the last two years. oh, brother... i can't trust myself. i have this thing about saxophone players. (...) you don't know what they're like. you really love'em. you think this is gonna be the biggest thing since the zeppelin. the next thing you know they're borrowing money from you, they're spending it with another dames and betting on horses. then one morning you wake up, the guy is gone, the saxophone is gone, all that's left behind is a pair of old socks and a tube of toothpaste, all squeezed out... so you pull yourself together, you go on to the next job, the next saxophone player... and it's the same thing all over again! you seen what i mean? i'm not very bright...

(esse frame congelei por acaso, sem querer mesmo, fui fazer xixi e dei pause e ficou assim. esse monólogo é uma cena muito engracada (como todo o filme) e mesmo assim a marilyn consegue fazer essas caras ambíguas - acho até que inconscientemente - que sao um resumo da vida dela como um todo. que mulher é essa...?)

outra cena de marilyn que eu amo é ela bem novinha interpretando o que ela viria a ser, em a malvada (um dos filmes preferidos da minha vida). a participacao dela é pequenina, mas iluminada. gracas a deus consegui achar minha cena preferida dela, e a melhor frase de efeito do cinema mundial:
